Our client, a boutique chartered accountancy practice in South Auckland, is seeking a highly organized and client-focused Office Administrator to support their team. This pivotal role involves working closely with the Accountants and Director, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional client service.
About the Role:
As the first point of contact at Reception, you will be the face of the firm, providing proactive support across administration, client management, and compliance processes. Your keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple tasks will be essential in maintaining efficient workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing Reception and PA support to the Director
Reviewing and organising client records for accountant processing
Managing MyIR and agency listing
Coordinating engagement letters, AML requirements, and new client onboarding
Overseeing Companies Office administration
Preparing finalised reports for client signatures and filing tax returns
Offering general administrative support to the team
About You:
To excel in this role, you will:
Have experience in bookkeeping or accounting administration
Possess excellent communication skills and professional presentation
Be proactive, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Enjoy managing tasks independently and ensuring everything is completed to a high standard
Build strong relationships with clients and team members
